Beach volleyball, or sand volleyball, is an Olympic team sport played on sand. Like other variations of volleyball, two teams, separated by a high net, try to score points against the other by grounding a ball on the other team's court. Competitive beach volleyball teams usually consist of two players, though recreational variations can contain any number of players.

The word "hooligan" is a noun that describes "a violent young troublemaker". There are a number of theories as to the origin of the word, mostly emanating from the Irish family surname Hooligan or Houlihan. The term has certainly been in use since at least the 1890s when it was first used to describe the behaviour of street gangs in London.

Hooliganism refers to unruly and destructive behaviour. Such behaviour is commonly associated with sports fans, particularly supporters of professional football and university sports. In some countries, the hooligan elements of a group of supporters are known as Category C. The term can also apply to general rowdy behaviour and vandalism, often under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Sports commonly refer to activities where the physical capabilities of the competitor are the sole or primary determiner of the outcome (winning or losing), but the term is also used to include activities such as mind sports (a common name for some card games and board games with little to no element of chance) and motor sports where mental acuity or equipment quality are major factors.

Bikinis appear in competitions, films, magazines, music, literature, magazines and even video games. Despite the easy availability of more revealing glamor imagery, bikini modeling remains popular and can still stir controversy. As a matter of fact the popular culture portrayals of bikini led, to a large extent, to its general acceptance into the society.

Many different sports are played in Japan. Traditional martial arts like judo and kendo are popular, as are sports imported from overseas, such as baseball and soccer (football). Many Japanese go to the sea for surfing and scuba diving in the summer, while skiing and snowboarding are popular winter pursuits.

It used to be that the "tramp stamp" was the best way a woman could advertise her availability on her body, but teen girls in Australia have come up with a less permanent method -- painting their phone numbers on their backs in sunscreen. A group of teen girls stirred up controversy when they were photographed on Australia's Manly Beach with their digits drawn in blue zinc cream on their bikini bods.

Beach volleyball is an Olympic team sport that is played on sand. Two teams, positioned on either side of a net which divides a rectangular court, hit a volleyball, usually using the hands or arms. Players on each team attempt to hit the ball over the net in such a way that it touches the ground inside the court boundaries, and to prevent the ball from touching the ground on their own side of the court.
